Florida Blue has unilaterally restricted your access to neurological care, determining that its members—and all BCBS members nationwide—must pay out of pocket or travel extensive distances for medically necessary services, intentionally limiting your access while increasing costs of care for all Americans.

We understand the burden this creates and strongly encourage you to change insurers immediately  to maintain continuity of care and avoid costly out-of-network expenses. If you have employer-sponsored insurance, request your HR department to reconsider its offering from Florida Blue/BCBS. 

We are available to assist you if needed and are happy to offer discounted rates and payment plans to ensure you do not lose access to the care you count on.

Aetna CVS Health will no longer offer individual and family plans through the marketplace beginning January 1, 2026. 

We advise you to explore all options available and do not recommend any Marketplace plans offered by Florida Blue. We encourage you to reach out to your providers first to verify what plans they are in network with prior to purchasing any health insurance offering. 

The MIND recommends the various other options for the marketplace such as, but in no particular oder, Simply, Molina, AmeriHealth, and more. Always consult with a licensed health insurance agent.
