Dear patient, WellCare, Ambetter, and Sunshine Medicaid remain in breach of contract. Over the past year, we have worked closely with the company to resolve the ongoing issues that go back several years but their parent company, Centene, refused to renegotiate and stop their illegal alteration of provider claims, despite being fined in 2022 over $9M by Florida regulators for the same.
As such, effective 2/26/24 our practice no longer accepts these insurances. We strongly urge you to change to an insurance still accepted by our practice but can always continue to see as self pay.
